Students can now register and fill their choices on the official website mcc.nic.in.
Important Dates:
- Registration Start: December 4, 2024
- Choice Filling Window: December 5 onwards
- Last Date for Registration: December 12, 2024 (12 noon)

Students should note that their previous round choices are no longer valid. They must fill fresh choices for Round 2 counselling. The choice-filling window will remain open for five days, giving students enough time to select their preferred colleges and courses.
In a recent development, the counselling committee has allowed students to change their nationality status from Indian to NRI. Interested candidates had to submit their request along with required documents by December 1, 10 am.
For Round 2 college allotment, students must:
- Register on the MCC website
- Fill their college preferences carefully
- Lock their choices before the deadline
- Wait for the seat allotment result
- Report to their allotted college between December 13-20 if selected
The state-level NEET PG counselling will also begin alongside Round 2 of the all-India quota counselling.
“Students must ensure they complete all formalities within the given timeline,” said an MCC official. “The verification process for joined candidates will happen between December 21 and 22, marking the end of Round 2 counselling.”
This round offers another chance to medical aspirants who couldn’t secure seats in the first round or wish to upgrade their current allotment. Students are advised to keep checking the official MCC website for any updates or changes in the schedule.
