Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the schedule for the second stage Computer-Based Test (CBT 2) for Assistant Loco Pilot positions, with examinations set to take place on March 19th and 20th, 2025. Key Exam Details
Candidates can expect their exam city intimation slip 10 days before the examination, while admit cards will be available for download starting March 15th, 2025, four days prior to the exam. The board emphasizes that candidates must carefully verify their assigned exam centers, as no modifications will be permitted once allocations are finalized.
Comprehensive Exam Structure The CBT 2 examination follows a two-part format:
- Part A consists of 100 questions covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering, and General Awareness, with a 90-minute time limit
- Part B focuses on trade-specific knowledge with 75 questions to be completed in 60 minutes The total examination duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes, with a maximum score of 175 marks.
“The exam city and date details will be available on the official RRB website, ensuring candidates have adequate time to prepare for their designated examination centers,” according to the official notice.
