Snap is also considering staff reductions

Snap, the creator of Snapchat, is implementing changes by downsizing its workforce. Approximately 10% of the employees, totaling around 500 jobs, will be affected by this decision. The objective is to optimize operations and foster a culture of collaboration. The company aims to streamline management hierarchies and promote face-to-face cooperation among its staff.

According to Snap, these modifications will allow them to prioritise crucial matters and prepare for future expansion. They will ensure compliance with applicable regulations and effectively communicate with their staff throughout this transition. Essentially, it involves reorganising elements to enhance functionality.
