Prize Money

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed a substantial prize money pool for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 . The tournament winners will take home a grand prize of US$2.24 million, along with the prestigious trophy to be presented on March 9.

The runners-up are set to receive US$1.2 million, semi-finalist $560,000 for CT 2025.

Qualification

Qualification Process Unlike previous editions that used ICC rankings, qualification for the 2025 Champions Trophy was based on team standings from the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. The top eight teams from that tournament secured their spots in this championship.

The tournament represents a historic moment for Pakistan cricket, marking their first hosting of a major ICC event in recent years, albeit in a hybrid format due to India’s stance on not traveling to Pakistan for matches.
